ICA has reinsurance backing using only major ‘A’ security rated International re-insurance markets including Lloyd’s of London, providing access to global expertise and superior claims capacity. We have provided clients with an excess of US$ 23bn insurance coverage to date. Our highly experienced team of international insurance professionals, along with qualified Afghan graduates, is available 6 days a week to discuss and give advice concerning the protection of business risks in Afghanistan, as well as throughout the South Asia region.
  • ICA congratulates the construction team at Procon Construction for successfully completing the new multi-span bridge in Uruzgan province funded by USAID. Overcoming tough challenges throughout the construction, Procon delivered a civil engineering project that is important to local economic development. ICA is proud to have provided support by arranging all the construction and asset insurance's necesary to protect the overal project investment.

    March 2014- Important ICA Announcement Concerning Insurance Group of Afghanistan (IGA)

    ICA is pleased to announce that it has concluded an agreement with Insurance Group of Afghanistan (IGA) to manage the run-off of its existing portfolio of business.

    IGA has now ceased placing and underwriting any new or renewal business. All risks assumed by IGA until expiry will continue to be for IGA's account and any new coverage will be offered on ICA paper.

    Companies and organisations operating or doing business in Afghanistan should be aware that direct puchase of insurance from an oversease insurance company, not holding an insurance license issued by the Afghanistan Ministry of Finance, is illegal under Afghan law and punitive actions will be taken by the authorities for breach of law.
